AMA expert witness advice helps Devon Wind farm finally gain planning consent
An AMA news item in summer 2009 covered our involvement in the Appeal Inquiry for the Den Brook Wind Farm (North Tawton, Devon) after our Senior Associate Dr Stephen Holloway had presented expert witness evidence on behalf of the developer, the Hertforshire-based Renewable Energy Systems (RES).
In December, RES were pleased to announce that the scheme has finally been granted planning consent, some six years and two public inquiries after the initial application was made.
AMA have been involved in this scheme since 2004, when we undertook all the baseline ecology surveys and prepared the ecology section of the Environmental Statement. Managing Director Andrew McCarthy was involved in the first planning inquiry in November 2006.
