AMA's Greg Slack runs 10km for stroke charity
Sunday 12 July 2009 saw AMA team member Greg Slack from AMA's Sheffield office pulling on his running shorts for a charity very close to his heart - 'Different Strokes' - which is a specialist charity for young stroke survivors. What made this 10 km race so special for Greg was that his father John, who had a stroke several years ago, stood for the duration of the race to see him finish in a very respectable time of 49mins 54 seconds, which put him in the top 150 out of 27,000 runners!
Greg extends his thanks to all the people - particularly his father John - who watched him run and to everyone who helped him raise £941.50.
