'BatStat Basic' heated bat box to retail at £595.00 plus VAT
These new boxes utilize the same reliable, rugged external design as our existing BatStat box, but are simpler internally, and use a very reliable, but non-programmable thermostat to control internal temperature; the unit will come pre-programmed to a single default temperature setting of 35 degrees.
Unlike other manufacturers selling apparenlty similar products, the integral electronics are covered by our excellent service and backup package, as is already offered on the more expensive BatStat Premium units.
The boxes will be availiable in early 2009. Call for details.
Bat Stat Premium box will incorporate a night time temperature drop
In early 2009 we will be modifying the highly reliable and sophisticated BatStat electronics unit to include a night time temperature drop, controlled by an externally mounted light sensor, to even more closely mimic real bat roost conditions. We expect this new unit to be available in spring 2009.
